While we are knee deep in the middle of our laundry room makeover, I am trying to make ever corner in this house as pretty as possible. And of course I'm avoiding all the big projects by working on more little ones! While I avoid the fixer upper mess that's going on behind the scenes, I figured I'd pop on here and share a 5 minute vintage window makeover! Seriously, this took 5 minutes!

I picked up a poster at my favorite antique store TroVe for a few bucks and had an extra window laying around the house.

Vintage Window Makeover
Make sure to wipe your window clean beforehand!
Step 1: Start by placing your poster in the back of the window. Trim it to size if it needs it or find the center of the window if the poster is too short like my window, and mark with a wipeable marker where the top and bottom of the poster should lay.
Step 2: Spray the front of your poster using the Elmer's Adhesive Spray. I did about four coats continuously up and down the front of my poster. You want the entire poster to be stuck to the window.
Step 3: Starting with the top of the poster, start to place it front side down smoothing it as you go to minimize wrinkling. If you start with the top and work your way down to the bottom of the poster, you should have absolutely no wrinkling! The glue doesn't dry super fast, so no need to rush this part!
Step 4: Hang your window using saw tooth hangers! That's it! It took less than 5 minutes to create this vintage window makeover from start to finish.
