Now that our little Izzy is two months old, I've made sure to capture all her major milestones with photos! These are so easy to put together, and today I'm sharing a beachside milestone shoot that we started and finished in less than 5 minutes with a basic camera and a few fun props!

I picked a really shady spot on the beach underneath some trees. The key to good photos is SHADE! Seriously, find some shade and you will be amazed at how high quality your photos are. I didn't have a ton of props on hand, but what I did have was her swaddle, the beach hat I was wearing, and some wood plaques I had made to document her milestones. The wood name sign was from her birth photos, so I bring that along every time I am going to take photos of the sweet babe!
I threw the swaddle down on the sand so she wouldn't be all sandy when we were done, and for a super cute background! I then realized I was wearing my sun hat, and thought how cute would it be to place her inside. So I took that off and threw that down on the ground too!
Pro Tip - Move your props around as you shoot for a variety of images. For some images, Izzy was on top of the sun hat, and for a few images, she was wearing my sun hat.
I purchased the wood signs from Mod Wood Co on Etsy and LOVE them! I can use them over and over and they are perfect for taking photos with!
You can purchase them here on Etsy and have them custom made in no time!
