I walk by this swing every day now and am still in awe how something so simple can be so beautiful! I love opening the screen door and hearing ry yell “hey mama” while swinging and reading a book 📚
We also received this PhufyBliss blanket from @spearmintbaby (gifted) and we are obsessed! It’s so cozy and the girls love using it on their swing!

Garden season 2023. From 3 raised beds to a 64x80

Garden season 2023.
From 3 raised beds to a 64x80 garden. We rented an auger so we could properly put in our tree posts and then the entire garden will be fenced by Monday.
Then it’s a race to get everything planted and the well hooked up to a gas powered pump which will feed the entire garden.
This field was plotted for a walkout and had a well already installed when we purchased it. So we’re using it to our advantage. I can’t wait for canning season but one baby step at a time.

Nifty tool, because I have no idea what it’s called 🤣
Who’s ready for some wildflowers?! We already have one field filled with them but what’s one more. We lined our field and garden with wildflowers to create a wall of color as we look out over our field.
I tried to pick as many native species as possible but then realized my husband had already picked some up that weren’t 🤦🏻‍♀️ We did seed them but won’t make that mistake again next year. Just wanted to be up front about that because it was a mistake I don’t want others to make.

Day 1 of our patio! Over the next few days I’ll

Day 1 of our patio! Over the next few days I’ll be sharing a few different projects I’m doing to bring our patio back to life for summer. Yesterday was this cute lil potting bench.
We bought this a few years ago for rys birthday and because it’s been outside, it’s seen better days. But instead of heading to the trash, I decided to give it a refresh by picking up some @rustoleum spray paint in their new color rustic pink and giving it new life. I did two coats of the pink paint and then two coats of a spray polyurethane to keep water from damaging it.
Then Ry got to pick out some flowers from the greenhouse and plant them in her own pots. I love having a little mini gardener around!
Stay tuned for day two, and a big refresh on our deck!
