If you don’t know how to cook and don’t want to fry, this recipe is for you. This is so easy, and only takes one pack of chicken drumsticks. Which last I checked, is pretty much the cheapest meat you can buy at the grocer. I snagged a pack of chicken drumsticks on sale for $2.50 and decided to make a breaded and baked chicken recipe. I had buttermilk left over from making butter, so I used that. If you don’t have buttermilk you can either make it, or just use regular milk.

Ingredients –
- 8.5 Oz cornbread mix
- Buttermilk
- Ranch seasoning packet
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne

1. Soak chicken in ranch seasoning and buttermilk overnight in fridge!
2. Mix salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne along with cornbread mix together.
3. Dip chicken in cornbread mixture to coat.
4. Bake on baking sheet at 425° for 40 minutes turning occasionally.

You’ll end up with a crispy breaded chicken without the high cost or mess of frying it! And it’s such an easy and foolproof recipe. So next time don’t hesitate to pick up that pack of chicken drumsticks at the store and give this a try!
