I typically don’t decorate for the here and gone again holidays, but thought I’d try my hand at it for the fourth! I already had plenty of red, white and blue on hand and the only thing I had to purchase for my patriotic tablescape was $5 worth of flags!
I already had a pretty blue ruffled table runner and knew this was going to be the start of my patriotic tablescape. Picking from decor around my house, I grabbed anything red or blue I could get my hands on. I found a few red handled rolling pins, some vintage dictionaries with the prettiest red and blue covers, and then used pops of white dishware to accent.
I have quite the collection of old bottles and just placed the flags in them.
As always, my copper made an appearance too. Adding the perfect vintage vibe to my patriotic tablescape.
I even dove into my fridge to see what kind of fruit I had in the colors I needed. Blueberries were perfect, and I just used some white ramekins I had on hand.
Putting this patriotic tablescape together made me realize you don’t need to spend money to create a seasonal space. I had so much fun decorating for the holiday and refreshing this space in my home!
