We finally got one of our patio spaces ready for the summer! This was a long time in the making. We recently had a baby, and as I’m sure you know, the outside takes a lot of work!! The deck needed to be restained and the house power washed before we could set anything up. Well, we finally got it done and were able to create a space worth hanging out in!
These are my must haves for creating a cozy outdoor space! And on a budget too! Everything we added this year was so affordable, so you can recreate this space too!
Outdoor Sectional

This outdoor sectional is everything!! It’s a 7 piece modular set, so no matter your space, you can reconfigure it to fit your space!
This particular outdoor couch comes in a variety of colors, but we chose the grey and cream. I’ll admit, I was nervous about cream outdoor cushions, but they are so easy to clean and outdoor proof!!

Egg Chair

These have been so popular the last few years!! The infamous egg chair!
We decided to order a kids version egg chair from Walmart. It was on sale and perfect for Ryan to hang out in when we are enjoying this patio space. I ordered her the pink with floral cushions because she’s extra but these come in a variety of colors too!

Offset Cantilever Umbrellas

If you have a deck or uncovered patio space, umbrellas are a must. We prefer the offset cantilever umbrellas which are freestanding and can be moved to cover various areas.
We chose a green umbrella to match our roof color. This particular one comes with a swivel at the base, so it can easily be moved. It also includes solar lights built into the sun shade! It’s massive, a whopping 10 feet wide!

Kids Potting Bench

Another fun addition was this adorable kids potting bench from Pottery Barn Kids! I scored it on major sale and gave it to Ryan for her birthday! It comes with mini pots and tools so the kids can get their hands dirty too!
