I’ve been seeing these smokeless fire pits all over social media lately and was curious what all the rage was. Apparently they are REALLY popular and affordable too. I was shocked. So I wanted to see what all the hype was about and ultimately decided to go with the Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0.

I feel like this is an average size fire pit. It’s about equivalent to the size fire pit you’d have in your backyard. I love that it can be used pretty much anywhere. On your deck, in your yard, on the beach or in the woods. We can’t wait to take this smokeless fire pit up north Michigan and use it there too. Did I mention it comes with a carry bag? Yeah, I was shocked too. And it’s pretty light to carry considering it’s a whole bonfire.

These are smokeless fire pits that use real wood. Just like you would put in a normal backyard fire. But they also just came out with a pellet adapter so you can use both. In these photos, we are using the pellets instead of wood.

There are SO many accessories you can buy for the Solo stove. We also got the surround so we can set this up on our deck this summer and have it look like an actual permanent fire table. Then when we want to use it elsewhere, we just pull it out of the stove surround and place it in the carry bag. They also have lids, shields, heat deflectors, and even a cast iron cook top for campsite cooking!

To try our Solo Stove out for the first time, we just took it out back on our property and set it up in our pine trees. It provided quite a bit of heat and was such a fun way to spend our night outside in the winter.

They are often running major sales on the Solo Stoves so be sure to check the website often to get the best price. For a few hundred dollars, I think they’re well worth the investment and are something you really only need to ever buy once.
