If you’re local to Michigan, you know we’ve had an odd winter. It’s been warm for the typical temperature we’re used to this time of year and barely any snow. So I decided to get a jump start on spring and bring some plants into the house!
Sticking with the green trend I have going on, I stopped at one of my favorite local antique stores and picked up some plants. She always carries the cutest plants in green terra cotta pots and I always stock up!
Sometimes I layer the plants in other pots to give them height and variation.
I am still loving my green Ruggable rug in here and it’s holding up fabulous! I feel like I was always swapping rugs out in here because I couldn’t find the one. This is definitely it and the greens just pair perfectly with my cabinets.
Of course when my baskets aren’t full of dirty laundry, I keep this room cozy using my Loose Linen chunky knit blankets. I love throwing them in one of my laundry baskets for a cozy and relaxed look.

Ryan even got in on the action and helped me cozy up the laundry room! Isn’t she cute helping me bring overalls back into style?!
This is one of my favorite rooms to style! Even thought it’s one of our most functional rooms in the house, it manages to stays cute and organized! I can’t say how thankful I am to have a finished laundry room I enjoy spending time in!
