Finally sharing the other side of our closet makeover!! If you remember, we quickly renovated the other side of this closet to create our very own DIY built in desk, and a more functional space for our toddler! But since we did one side, the other side just didn’t vibe or provide very good organization so I tackled this one too!

This entire transformation cost us $130! $100 for the IKEA storage cabinets, and about $30 for a few cute storage containers! Quite the cost savings if you ask me. We ended up removing the closet doors, because after I saw how organized this space could really be, I realized closet doors only allow this space to get messy again!
If you ask me what the BEST change was in here, it was hands down moving the clothing rack close to the ground, at toddler height. This may seem crazy to some, as now your toddler has full access to their clothing. But it has been AMAZING for helping us teach Ryan how to dress herself, and for helping mama put her clothing away!

We organized her baskets by placing her costumes into one, games/puzzles into another, and sorting the least used items all the way up top. She also has a stool so that she can reach things on the higher shelves. Ryan is very independent and likes to help herself!
So amazing what a small change and some storage bins can make for a space! It’s been several weeks since we’ve finished this space and it’s been working out so wonderfully for us!
